Narrative: SGT Dean Todd was a satellite communications expert with the 307th Signal Battalion in South Korea. He was notified of a promotion and transfer to MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla. On August 30, 2004, approximately two weeks before his scheduled departure to Florida, SGT Todd committed suicide. He was 21.
