Narrative: SGT Dennis L. Sellen Jr. of Newhall, at age 20, served with the 1st Battalion, 185th Infantry Regiment and was killed in gun accident near the Kuwaiti border in Umm al Qasr, Iraq, on February 11, 2007. Reportedly, a fellow soldier accidentally discharged his weapon while cleaning it after a combat mission.
