March 12, 2001: Interior (view through a windowless opening) of the homestead house at the Blum Ranch in Aliso Canyon (Acton). The original rock-walled home, built in 1891 by settlers George and Magdalena Blum, forms the lower floor of this structure; the base of the wood-frame house, added onto it later, can be seen at top.
