Newhall, Calif. July 11, 1923. Regular meeting of the Newhall Chamber of Commerce was called to order at 8:30 P.M. in Hap-A-Lan Hall by the Secretary.
As the President and Vice-President were absent a motion was passed appointing R.R. Ridel [sic] temporary Chairman.
Mr. McMannus reported on Street Improvement. He presented a petition to be signed by property owners on the streets to be improved. Mr. McMannus was asked to circulate this petition and report at next regular meeting.
Motion passed that a committee be appointed to secure an option on the present water system.
Motion passed extending thanks to the Masons for their kind offer of their club rooms for a meeting place.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned to August 8th at the Masonic Club Rooms at usual time.[Approved]
