Wallace Vernon Gleim


Wallace Vernon Gleim, a longtime resident of Valencia, passed away Sept. 27, 2013, at the age of 83. He was born Dec. 4, 1929. He passed from a brief illness.

Wallace was the owner of Wallace Engineering Company. He spent time in the Marines and was also involved with the Van Nuys Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his sons, Paul M. Gleim (Gale) and Steven H. Gleim (Lynn), all local residents of Valencia; and his brother, Robert Gleim (Jean) of Bakersfield. His grandchildren, Christopher, Michelle, Jason, Craig and Sarah and great grandchildren, Johnny, Justin, Devyn, Kiera and Autumn, will miss him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in Wally's name be made to the American Cancer Society.
