Kenneth Gordon Heaton


Dr. Kenneth Heaton was born in Zephyr, Ontario, Canada, to James and Rose Heaton. He is survived by his devoted wife and best friend, Sylvia, with whom he shared more than 54 loving years; his son, Kenneth Jr., his wife, Laurel and their three children, Lindsay, Spencer, and Chelsea; his daughter Caroline and her husband Larry Melzer (Ken's friend and traveling companion); Cousin Audrey Adams; Brother-In-Law Peter Matheson and Wife Dorothy; Sister-In-Law Marjorie and Husband, Robert Nelson.

Dr. Heaton's distinguished career included ministering to churches from Ontario, Canada, in 1956, to the Midwestern states of the U.S. until his retirement in 2004 from the Pacific Northwest Conference of the United Methodist Church. He moved to Valencia in 1972.

Visitation hours November 15, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Eternal Valley 23287 Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321, (661) 259-0800. Funeral services Saturday, November 16, 2013, 11 a.m. at Valencia United Methodist Church, 25718 McBean Pkwy, Valencia, CA 91355, (661) 255-1301. Interment to follow at Eternal Valley.
