Newhall Woman's Club Fourth of July Parade entry, 1930s (undated).

A caption on the back of this copy print, probably written by Jerry Reynolds in the 1980s — because it says "S.C.V.H.S. Collection," so it's not Perkins — says this is "later" than 1932, when Newhall's Fourth of July parades became a more-or-less annual tradition. The caption identifies Bertha Taylor, Armantha Thibaudeau (misspelled Thibedeau, further suggesting Reynolds) and Charlotte Cone in the wagon.

If we had to guess, we'd suggest 1934, when Newhall held one of its best-attended and best-photographed Fourth of July celebrations.
