Miguel "Mike" Corralejo, at age 88, holds a photograph of himself as "Cowboy Miguel" on the left, with his brother, Gregory, at right. Mike is 12 or 13 in the photo. The boys were sons of a farm working family from Moorpark and harvested crops from the Santa Clara River Valley to the fertile San Joaquin. Mike would eventually own a construction company in San Fernando.
