"Tent City Hall"
Earthquake of Jan. 17, 1994

Santa Clarita's City Hall building at 23920 W. Valencia Blvd. was declared unsafe ("red-tagged") after the Northridge Earthquake of Jan. 17, 1994. The city's emergency operations were conducted out of a "tent city hall" that was set up in the building's east parking lot until the structure underwent repairs.
