Mass-produced postcard, "Greetings From Friendly Valley," postally used in 1970. Friendly Valley was built in the late 1960s as a retirement community. View is looking northwest toward Canyon Country. Neighborhood shopping center along Friendly Valley Parkway features prominently in the foreground. Photo is shot from the site of the later development of Scenic Hills, built in the early 1980s.
