St. Francis Dam Disaster expert Frank Rock (above left) addresses a standing-room-only crowd Sunday, March 11, 2001, at the Saugus Train Station in Hertiage Junction Historic Park. Rock led the Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society's annual bus trip to the site of the March 12, 1928 disaster in San Francisquito Canyon. The tour included a stop at the rebuilt Power Plant No. 2 (right) and a hike to the top of the wing dyke (below).
