This partial photograph of the Newhall Girl Scouts of 1946 comes from Judy Stevens (neé Judy Borden), who grew up on the Newhall-Potrero Oil Lease and is seen here in the top row, center. Judy Stevens taught math at Placerita Junior High School and Saugus High School from 1970 to 1996.

Front row: Far right — my mom, Deanne (nee Wilkie) Scarborough [born and lived in Newhall until age 11]; second from right — Madelyn; third from right — Carolyn (nee Morrison) Klump; fifth from right — might be Janie Slayton.
Second row: left — might be Joan Jauregui; second from right — might be Nancy Wheeler.
Back row: far left — Diane Donaldson; far right — Elmira Coffee.
