Recipe from the Rib Cafe
Saugus, California

The Rib Cafe was located on San Fernando (Bouquet Canyon) Road, just north of the Saugus Cafe near the intersection of modern-day Magic Mountain Parkway.

FRENCH DRESSING

1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 cup vegetable oil

Combine all ingredients in a lidded container and shake well to mix. It's best served after sitting for a few hours.
