Hand-written list of living people (as of ~1949) who attended Sulphur Springs School from 1886 to 1915.

According to contributor Janet Vining Mitchell, the list was probably compiled in 1949, maybe for a reunion, by Florence Manning Mitchell, daughter-in-law of Soledad Canyon homesteaders Thomas F. and Martha Mitchell. Florence's husband, Frank A. Mitchell, is listed among the living; he died in 1950.

To clarify:

1. Thomas Finley Mitchell (b. Dec. 24, 1827; d. 1907) + Martha Catherine Taylor (Dec. 24, 1847 - Aug. 10, 1905)

2. Frank Ambrose Mitchell (Nov. 14, 1870 - Feb. 13, 1950) + Florence Manning (b. 1887)

3. Richard Francis Mitchell (Sept. 19, 1919 - July 16, 2002) + Betty Mae French (b. July 30, 1922)

4. Richard Francis Mitchell Jr. (b. 1944) + Janet Vining

According to Janet Vining Mitchell, Florence Manning Mitchell taught at Sulphur Springs School for many years, and she would have known the names from her own personal experience. The document was found in a Mitchell family photo album.

Document reads as follows:
