Newhall, Calif. May 9, 1923.
Regular meeting of the Directors of Newhall Chamber of Commerce
called to order at 9:30 P.M. in Hap-a-lan Hall by Chairman Swall.
Directors McMannus, Swall, Miller, Anderson, Harker, Riedel, Lamkin,
Carr, Doty and Thibaudeau present.
Motion passed that bill of Riley-Moore for making cut for use
on stationery be paid.
J.W. Doty and John S. Pilcher appointed to take up the Viaduct
question with the Auto Club.
P.C. Miller, A.G. Thibaudeau, A.C. Swall and Fred R. Lamkin appointed
to organize a Fire District and to look into the matter of securing a Fire House sight [sic].
Meeting adjourned to May 23rd at the Masonic Club Rooms at usual hour.
