Newhall, Calif. March 28, 1923.
Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Newhall Chamber of Commerce
called to order at 9:30 P.M. in the Presbyterian Church by Chairman Swall.
Directors Doty, Lamkin, Swall, Riedel and Thibaudeau present.
The Board appointed J.W. Pilcher and Bob Anderson the 10th and
11th members.
Mr. Anderson asked that the Chamber write a letter to the Los Angeles
Examiner asking that they route their Sunday Motor Trip through Newhall on Rodeo Day. After a
great deal of discussion it was decided that each member of the Board secure what date he
could and report at the next meeting of the Board.
Motion carried that a meeting of the Board of Directors be held Friday
evening, March 30th in Masonic Hall at 8 o'clock and that the Secretary be instructed to notify
all members not present.
There being no further business at this time the meeting adjourned.
