Paul Palmer, a Los Angeles-area attorney, bought horse property in Sand Canyon and moved his family there in 1939. He was father to Paula (Palmer) Cox, wife of Sand Canyon resident Clement Kenneth Cox. Photo in the San Fernando Valley, where Palmer lived before coming to the Santa Clarita Valley.
