This is a view of Placerita Canyon which can be seen looking to the right as you travel southbound on current Highway 14 as it passes through Placerita Canyon. The pipeline in the photo is the Los Angeles Aqueduct as it heads towards the cascades, the terminus of the Aqueduct in Sylmar.
